Awareness Through Movement®, part of the Feldenkrais Method®, is a gentle, floor-based class rooted in somatic and neuromuscular training.
Through slow, guided sequences — usually lying or sitting — you’ll explore everyday human movement patterns with precision and attention. By reducing effort and moving slowly, you begin to notice unnecessary tension and habitual patterns, creating the conditions to release them.
Rather than focusing on strength or stretching, this practice works through neuromuscular re-education. It supports neuroplasticity by improving motor control, coordination, and proprioception — helping the nervous system reorganize itself for greater efficiency and ease.
The result can be decreased pain, improved recovery from injury, enhanced athletic performance, and a calmer, more regulated system overall.
All ages and abilities are welcome.
